Members of the EAMG will agree to follow the paragraphs stated below in the interest of the Industry, the Allergic Patient and Allergy Specialists as well as the Member Company itself.

Preamble

The EAMG Rules of Conduct leave unimpeded all legal obligations of the members at a national or international level.

RULES OF CONDUCT

# 1 Code of Conduct

  • The member shall announce its membership of the EAMG to the public in a positive way in order to support the image of our business.
  • The member shall behave ethically and fair in the market when competing with other members of the EAMG.
  • The member shall behave according to the rules of the pharmaceutical industry in general and, when in doubt, act in good faith towards Competitors, the Medical Community and Health Authorities.
  • A member of the EAMG shall behave according to GXP rules including ethical aspects of marketing products.

# 2 Discipline

  • The member will participate actively in EAMG meetings and all relevant discussions related to the business and image of allergens and allergy diagnosis and treatment.
  • The member will excuse his absence ahead of meetings where participation is not possible.
  • The member will contribute in an open and honest way in exchanging non-confidential knowledge and opinions in all aspects of the work in the EAMG.
  • The member shall implement and follow the agreed decisions and intentions expressed by the EAMG working groups and executive bodies.

# 3 Publications

  • The member shall only support or publish clinical, fundamental or technical results that are scientifically well documented and obtained in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
  • The member shall design and carry out studies in good faith and always publish results even if neutral or negative to the expected outcome.
  • The member shall conduct in-house research and development in accordance with existing rules and guidelines for the pharmaceutical industry and shall not present or publish results that could discredit the image of the EAMG.
  • The member shall not support scientific projects that are only justified by commercial goals.
